Trinidad and Tobago, officially the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, is a sovereign island state of the Caribbean situated off the northeast coast of Venezuela and South of Granada in the Lesser Antilles. It has a maritime border with Barbados to the northeast, Guyana to the southeast, and Venezuela to the South and west. It is located at the confluence of the Caribbean Sea with the Atlantic Ocean. The country has an area of 5 128 km² and consists of the islands of Trinidad, Tobago and numerous islanders. The island.
