It's not just another sport!



I’m pretty sure that you already say this sentence that it’s our title today. We’ve been talking a lot about peace and sports these lasted posts. Peace it’s an actual and important subject, especially right now, in the historic moment that our planet is living. But sports bring another type of peace. Inner peace. And this is ours subject today.


You probably have a favorite sport, right? Mine is soccer (I guess you already know). You know that time when our team wins? That your body explode of happiness? You, in that moment, be so happy that nobody can take you down? Even when you are sad, when you remember that your team will play today, a light shiver over the body bringing you joy. Deep down, you know that it’s definitely not just another sport.


Any sport can literally change a soul. Can fix a broken heart. Can be the strange that we need to go on. Can take us from a bad place. Can full are body with good feelings. Also, can give us hope that everything will be good.




We also turn athletes into heroes. Their superpower are given us happiness and hope, but they don’t know that is the noblest power. See then play whatever modality it’s something so rewarding that is completely impossible to describe with mere words, the only way is see or feel the feeling.


Sports are something so pure that can bring us countless feelings. Bring joy, love, gratitude, satisfaction, but also can make you angry, sad, distressed. And we need to give value to something that brings us so many emotions, even controversial ones. A sport can be the rope that makes us rise from an emotional abyss. Not only emotional, even as we go to an appointment, in almost all medical specialties, always ask us if we do exercises. Sport is an emotional, psychological and physical remedy. People use to say that laughter is the best medicine, but maybe, just maybe, sport is the best medicine.


Be in, any kind, of team teaches importin lessons. Like team spirit, how win and more important how to lose, how help the other will eventually help yourself, help without waiting for something back, how is awesome work together, how is to feel having someone holding you back, how is having a family out of home, how is good to fell part of something.



For me, there’s nothing more satisfactory that be part of something. Fell part of the team full our body with good emotions, even when you lose the match. Because, even when you are wrong they will be there for you and help you to get better. They will not judge you since they’re in the same spot.


It’s okay if you don’t have any special talent to play a sport. Because if you are a fan, you are a part of a group that feel the same felling that you. You and a lot of people are moving by the same felling, that is support the team and be with then no matter what, this is also something noble.


So indeed, sports bring inner peace!
