Female football is something of extreme importance. Taking advantage of the hook of the CISMWorld Military Championship Football Women's, I decided to speak now about how important football is for women.
We know that football is something of great importance to the world, and it inspires and makes us want to fight, because the force that this sport transmits to us is not something common.
Speaking of this strength of the sport, we know that the woman has a natural power and makes the feminine force as powerful as the masculine one. Women who practice sports are even more beautiful to behold.
History time
Women's football has the same rules as men's. According to FIFA, the first official match between women was played on March 23, 1885, in Crouch End, London, England. The two teams were divided into North and South, representing the two parts of the city.
World War I was the key to the overcrowding of women's football in England. Because many men went to the battlefield, the woman was already introduced into the working force. Many factories had their own football teams which until then had been the privilege of men.
However, at the end of the war, women's football was not recognized despite success and popularity. This led to the formation of the English Ladies Football Association. The start was difficult and led the women to play in Rugby stadiums.
Fortunately, in 1969 was created the female branch for football.
CISM History time:
Football, along with other sports, was the first sport in which a championship was officially organized under the responsibility of CISM.
